On November 27 2021, the Yandex Museum will be holding its third Demodulation – a festival about the history of technologies, human intelligence, and progress. This year the festival, which is always free-to-attend, will be taking place online: either in Moscow or on YouTube. The pandemic situation is unpredictable, so we're ready for anything, with two standalone programs. Both of them will include:

  • Online lectures by people who invented the modern techno world.
  • Legendary and modern games on amazing retro platforms.
  • Guided tours of our functional retro computers exhibition.
  • One of the main Russian demo parties. Before Demodulation and at the festival itself, the museum team traditionally holds computer art competitions. Participants can compete in creating graphics, music, and in programming.
