Major Infrastructure & Framework Updates

This was a large release consolidating many changes accumulated over time.

  • Migrated to GitHub — moved the entire codebase from GitLab to GitHub, including CI/CD pipelines and issue tracking
  • Upgraded Symfony — updated from an older version to Symfony 7.x with all related dependency updates
  • Switched to Vite — replaced Webpack Encore with Vite for frontend asset building, improving build performance
  • Replaced Google Maps — migrated from Google Maps to an alternative mapping solution (MapLibre/OpenStreetMap based) to reduce third-party dependency

This release also included numerous smaller features, bug fixes, and refactoring work.
